Target

A target is a set of colors with known values that can be compared with the printout. The set of colors must cover the extremes of the color range. These colors should have an equal distribution over colour space. You need many samples so as not to have gaps in color space.

There are three targets:

target0: is the smallest possible target for obtaining a reasonable result. This is for the person who must use a spectrophotometer to measure the matrix of colors by hand. It has approximately 250 colors.

target1: is the normal target. There are approximately 1000 colors in this matrix. It will fit on to one A4 sheet.

target4: is the choice of the perfectionist. There are approximately 4000 colors and will be printed out on four A4 sheets.

Double-click on your choise and store on the desktop. Unzip to get a .ps file to print.
